Privacy Policy
Version 04/15/2009

Audio Publishers Group is strongly committed to safeguarding visitors' privacy on caraudiobook.com. We operate under the following strict privacy policy:

Information Collected

The only information we obtain about our customers is information we need to process credit card charges and send email confirmations. The information collected is never revealed, sold, or made public for any reason. Audio Publishers Group does not actively market to children, and we never knowingly ask a child under 13 to divulge personal information.

Personally identifiable information provided by customers (name, email or home address, etc.) is never disclosed to any individual or business. However, we reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.

Cookies

We use "cookie" technology only to obtain non-personal information from online visitors. A cookie is a piece of data that is stored on your hard drive when you visit certain web pages. We track information in an aggregate form to allow us to update and improve our site; personally identifiable information is not extracted in this process. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. You can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.

Advertisements

As you may have noted, our pages often include third party advertisements from Google, Amazon, eBay and other sites.

Some of these advertisers may use technology such as cookies and web beacons when they advertise on our site, which will also send these advertisers (such as Google through the Google AdSense program) information including your IP address, your ISP, the browser you used to visit our site, and in some cases, whether you have Flash installed.

This is generally used for geotargeting purposes (showing New York real estate ads to someone in New York, for example) or showing certain ads based on specific sites visited (such as showing cooking ads to someone who frequents cooking sites).

You can chose to disable or selectively turn off our cookies or third-party cookies in your browser settings, or by managing preferences in programs such as Norton Internet Security. However, this can affect how you are able to interact with our site as well as other websites. This could include the inability to login to services or programs, such as logging into forums or accounts.

External Links

In order to provide visitors with greater value, some of our pages may provide links to various third party websites. In no case is information or 'cookies' provided to the third party sites.

However, keep in mind that many sites do attempt to capture visitor information when you browse those sites. Once you leave our site, we are not able to alert you should another site attempt to gather information from your browser.

Changes to this Policy

Please note this Privacy Policy will change from time to time. We expect most such changes to be minor, but there may be changes that are more significant. Regardless, we will post those changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will also provide a more prominent notice. Each version will be noted at the top of the page.
